L'AGONA:

Our wine-cellar is located in Terricciola, in the province of Pisa. We are immersed in the greenery of our hills, surrounded by panoramic roads that meander through olive groves and vineyards and pass through small villages.
Centuries ago, this area was washed by the sea and the signs of this past are still present in our land. The clay and sandy terroir, rich in fossils, preserves traces of a time when shells and other marine creatures inhabited our hills.
These characteristics give L'Agona wines complexity and aromatic elegance on the nose and flavor and depth on the palate.
Agona was born from a family project that came together thanks to a shared passion: the world of wine.
The name of the company itself conveys this strong bond, as each letter corresponds to the initials of the family names.

PODERE PELLICCIANO:

San Miniato was born as an Etruscan settlement, and it is precisely here that the "wine funnel" symbol of Podere Pellicciano was found, to remember the history and winemaking tradition of the area. San Miniato is an ancient territory, crossed by several rivers, it is a continuous alternation of clays, marine fossils and layers of white tuff. Its valley conveys the winds coming from the sea, refreshing the bunches and creating an ideal microclimate. Thanks to its conformation, the San Miniato area is strongly suited to quality viticulture, great red wines and fine white grape varieties.
Podere Pellicciano is a historic farm, there has been news of it since 1830, but it was only in 2003 that the Caputo family decided to dedicate themselves to its rebirth.
The company is young, curious, dynamic and the range of wines produced is wide and eclectic.
